What I offer

I offer native English coaching for business, university study or simply personal interest.

Maybe you want to be able to speak the international language of English better, while traveling or more generally in day to day life? 

Do you know English well enough, but want to develop your slang, idioms, phrasal verbs or sense of humor? Maybe you can ask for help in a shop, but cannot keep up with business terminology and the speed of discussion on web calls at work? 

The specifics you require can usually be catered for. I offer both a casual conversational style, or more formal technical learning... as you wish. Generally you will already have a basic level of English language ability ranging from from A1 to B2 level, and we plan target progress from there! I can provide lessons online, or in person as you wish. I do not generally travel to clients more than 5km from central Gdańsk.

Zazwyczaj mogę dopasować zajęcia do Twoich konkretnych potrzeb. Oferuję zarówno swobodny, rozmowny styl, jak i bardziej formalne, techniczne podejście – jak wolisz. Zazwyczaj będziesz mieć już podstawową znajomość języka angielskiego na poziomie od A1 do B2, a od tego punktu wspólnie planujemy dalszy postęp!

Background

I am a native Englishman, hailing from Southern England, close to London. I came to live in Brzeźno full time with my family in 2020. I have A2 level Polish language skills myself, so there is the capability for me to empathize with your language as we learn together. From time to time I will revert into some Polish in order to assist the process. ;)

My career experience to date is over 15 years working in the advertising industry. I have worked on behalf of many international clients such as Volkswagen, Skoda, London Business School, Toyota, Diageo, Microsoft, Phillips, Sanofi, Blackrock and Unilever.

I have learned Polish myself rather casually in Poland over the past few years and most importantly, I hold a Diploma in  TEFL Level 5 certification awarded on 12 October 2024.
