Currently, for our client who is a global technology company, we are looking for a Server DataBase Administrator.
Requairements:

Analytical mindset in troubleshooting and resolving database problems.
5 + years of experience with Database Administration for SQL Server
Good understanding in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models.
Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options.
Expertise in SQL language.
Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts (PowerShell, Ansible playbooks).
Experience working with Windows servers, including.
Good communication and documentation skills in English

Responsibilities:

Design, test, plan, implement, protect, operate, manage and maintain our company's databases.
Responde in a timely manner to user reported errors.
Protect the database against threats or unauthorized access by establishing and maintaining security and integrity control.
Report on metrics regarding usage and performance.
Instal and upgrade RDBMS infrastructures.
Make recommendations for database improvements (policies, procedures & standards).
Identify problems of system perfomance.

This position includes participation in the watch duty role (24/7 on call for a total of about 7 to 10 days per month).
