Roles and Responsibilities

Design MV/HV electrical substations for transmission and distribution projects
Develop primary and secondary electrical designs, including single-line diagrams, general layouts, protection and control schematics, grounding systems, cable routing, and interconnections
Perform engineering calculations such as short-circuit, load flow, grounding, and equipment sizing
Prepare complete technical documentation, including specifications, bill of materials, and design reports
Ensure compliance with client requirements, grid codes, and international standards
Collaboration with other departments to ensure smooth project delivery

Skills and Qualifications

BSc/MSc degree in Electrical, Power Engineering or a related discipline
2 + years of experience in electrical substation design for MV/HV power systems.
Strong knowledge of power system engineering and substation equipment (transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, etc.)
Proficiency knowledge of one of following tools: AutoCAD or Ruplan
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, German will be an asset
Ability to work independently and effectively communicate within multidisciplinary teams
Open-minded and cooperative working style within a multicultural and international context
