Global Business Performance Controller

How you will get the job done

• taking responsibility for the monitoring of national and international companies and branches
• building an in-depth/profound understanding of the business models
• implementing economic analyses and professional evaluation of business development
• obtaining a comprehensive view (HGB, IFRS, Solvency II) of key performance indicators for group units and management boards
• critical monitoring of investment valuations for strategic projects and performance controlling
• target-oriented cost monitoring of primary and total costs, as well as ensuring an audit-proof cost allocation

Skills and experience you will need

• fluency in both English and German (C1+)
• university degree in economics, business mathematics, or a comparable field
• professional experience in investment and participation controlling, auditing, and/or insurance in accordance with international accounting standards, especially IFRS 17
• ability to analyse complex issues and adequately communicate them to specific target groups
• striving to become a leading technical expert
• self-driven, structured way of working
• ability to think in terms of the company as a comprehensive corporate entity, excellent understanding of numbers
• being convincing and assertive
• quick mind and strong communication skills
