Group Financial Controller with German | f/m/d

How you will get the job done

• financial controlling and performance monitoring for national and international entities and branches
• developing a deep understanding of business models and value drivers across the organisation
• driving target-oriented cost controlling, including analysis of primary and total costs
• conducting economic and financial analyses and providing professional assessments of business performance and development trends
• delivering an integrated management view of KPIs (HGB, IFRS, Solvency II) to support decision-making for group entities and management boards
• challenging and monitoring investment valuations for strategic initiatives and ensuring effective performance control

Skills and experience you will need

• fluency in both English and German
• university degree in Economics, Business Mathematics, or a comparable field
• 3+ years of experience in Financial Controlling and/or Business Analysis
• knowledge of financial controlling and cost management
• strong ambition to grow into a recognised financial controlling expert with a deep understanding of business and value creation
• self-driven, structured and analytical mindset, combined with the ability to understand the company as an integrated corporate group
• excellent numerical skills, coupled with assertiveness and the ability to challenge, influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• knowledge of international accounting standards, especially IFRS 17
• experience in working in a multinational environment
