As Growth Manager you will be responsible for building the awareness and growth of a platform, that is first of it’s kind in the rapidly growing retail-tech sector.

You’ll take ownership, develop, and drive a creative demand generation plan to drive subscription in our freemium model. You will work closely with Sales Manager and Customer Success Manager to identify opportunities for growth and fill gaps within user journey.

You will report into the Commercial Director, and have responsibility for all facets of driving demand generation; from developing the strategy and initiatives, to executing the plan and reporting on progress towards business objectives.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with experience of scaling a fast growing product, and wants to take on the responsibility of owning and delivering to ambitious business growth objectives using online channels.

You will build your own team of content and social media experts with a view to educate and inform our target audience.

  • Own and improve the customer value proposition messaging across all channels including landing pages and product websites
  • Create a detailed demand generation plan that is scalable and affordable
  • Work with internal sales and retention teams and external agencies, media and contractors to meet growth targets.
  • Supervise, develop & optimize web sites with close co-op with local and central product stakeholders
  • Conduct channel optimization and testing – direct mail, email, newsletter, partner, events etc.
  • Explore and execute partner campaigns that can amplify demand generation
  • Build and manage nurture/drip marketing where relevant.
  • Influence B2B content strategy and execution
  • Measure, iterate, improve constantly.
  • Plan, execute and measure all digital campaigns/activities

  • You are a data driven growth marketer with a passion to understand the market, customers and competition to execute, test and repeat growth hacks.
  • Excellent marketing campaign management and delivery skills
  • Proven marketing experience, preferably within an eCommerce or SaaS business
  • Ability to manage target expectations and report on KPI’s
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Hands-on self-starter with the combination of analytic and commercial skills to figure out what needs doing and then doing it
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to inspire confidence at the most senior level
  • Analytical thinker with a demonstrably broad business perspective
  • Displays energy, creativity and innovation
  • Results-focused
  • Able to deliver under pressure
  • Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment; appetite and motivation to raise the game
  • Basic html / CSS skills to optimise emails and landing pages is advantageous
  • Experience in scaling a business through marketing (i.e. growing acquisition from 100s to 1000s) desirable
