The Hempel Group is a leader in the production and sale of industrial paints. Today, we have 10 research units, 27 factories, 48 sales offices and more than 150 warehouses located in strategic locations around the world.
The Item Master Data Team is in charge of the creation of data globally in a centralized manner. We operate supporting all the regions.
Currently we are looking for Data Analyst Intern to support our team members in the different activities related to the Item Master Creation process and other business-related matters.
Responsibilities:
Your main task is to be responsible for creation and maintenance of Item Master Creation and to support the business with the update of information during ERP system upgrades. As well you would be:

Responsibilities:
Your main task is to be responsible for creation and maintenance of Item Master Creation and to support the business with the update of information during ERP system upgrades. As well you would be:
- Ensure that all products are created and maintained properly in the system
- Create, change and phase out materials and products
- Ensure data alignment between our different ERP systems
- Support business with data extracts, mass loads, etc.
- Participate in different business projects
- Ensure that master data rules are established and enforced
- Communicate with different stakeholders of the organization globally and have a good understanding of the entire value chain
Qualifications and competences:
- Valid student status for the internship period (preferably for 1 year or more)
- Good communication English skills (written and oral) as you will be working with colleagues globally
- Interest in building- and maintaining a solid Master Data platform
- Willingness to learn project and change management
- Good to have: experience of ERP systems e.g. Dynamics AX or D365
- Good to have: experience having a similar assignments in an industrial/logistics company
- Analytical mindset
- Proactive, good team-player as well as personality, which is able to work without close supervision
