SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER WITH FEA EXPERIENCE

MAIN DUTIES:
  • identification of design assumptions,
  • hand calculations,
  • FEM calculations,
  • formulation of the problem and solution,
  • preparing a 3D-model,
  • preparing drawing documentation,
  • preparing material lists,
  • preparing manuals,
  • preparing reports,
  • supervision over execution of the project.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Technical University (shipbuilding specialization),
  • 5 year of work experience,
  • 3 year of experience in FEA,
  • Good oral and written command of English,
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and Autocad,
  • Good technical knowledge,
  • Team working skills.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in global strength analysis of hull,
  • Experience in fatigue strength calculations,
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn,
  • Creativity,
  • Commitment,
  • Knowledge of Cadmatic Hull Software.

Nava is currently looking for candidates to co-create the electrical team inside the experienced, well-developing, and multi-disciplined company in the field of shipbuilding engineering.

As a part of our team of committed engineers, you will participate in various projects relating to new concept vessels, retrofits of existing vessels, EGCS projects, BWTS projects and unique projects execute on the client request. In addition, as an Electrical Engineer you will take part in every stage of the project, making the design assumptions, preparing the design and documentation, and exercising supervision, which will allow you to improve your comprehensive skills and ensure exceptional work.
