Due to the rapid development, Northvolt is looking for new employees for the position of Incoming goods Quality Inspector. Their job scope will be to ensure appropriate quality standards in the Incoming Inspection area, representing the company in the eyes of the customer when it comes to quality culture and being an example of an excellent approach to the tasks set for all co-workers and constantly looking for new solutions.
Key responsibilities:

- Work in accordance with safety system guidelines.
- Work in accordance with the guidelines of the quality management system and environmental management based on the internal procedures and instructions.
- Implementing of quality standards and quality mindset in the organization.
- Control of components according to Control Plans and Work Instruction.
- Performing measurements of components according to drawings.
- Making decisions regarding OK or NOK status of a component.
- Reporting of inspection results, working daily with ERP system Dynamics365.
- Supervision of sorting, reworking or repairing.
- Verification of tooling used by Incoming Inspection.
- Clarification of quality discrepancies together with quality team.
- Location management with non-compliant components.
- Experience in manufacturing company.
- Command of spoken and written English at level that allows you to communicate freely with Northvolt team members.
- Command of spoken and written Polish at level that allows you to communicate freely with people who don’t speak English.
- Knowledge of electronics basis.
- Experience with measurement performing and ability of reading technical drawings will be a plus.
- Computer skills: basics in MS Office suite, knowledge of Dynamics365/ERP system will be a big plus.

Northvolt is a European supplier of sustainable, high-quality battery cells and systems. Founded in 2016 to enable the European transition to a decarbonized future, Northvolt has made swift progress on its mission to deliver the world’s greenest lithium-ion battery with a minimal CO2 footprint and the highest ambitions for recycling. Northvolt Ett is a next generation battery cell factory focused on process innovation, scale and vertical integration. Once completed, the gigafactory will be one of the largest battery cell factory in Europe and produce at least 32 GWh of capacity annually.
Alongside Northvolt Ett, Northvolt is also establishing a manufacturing site for battery systems in Gdansk, Poland. This facility, Northvolt Battery Systems Jeden, will industrialize and produce world leading battery systems in order to meet the increased demand for complete battery solutions on the European market. The factory is a highly automated, state-of-the-art production facility for battery modules and energy storage solutions.
We are currently in an exciting fast-growing phase and operate in a dynamic environment, dealing with a wide range of stakeholders. We are staffing our international office in Stockholm, our R&D facility, Northvolt Labs in Västerås, as well as Northvolt Battery Systems Jeden, in Gdansk, for production of battery systems. We are also preparing for upcoming positions at the main factory, Northvolt Ett, in Skellefteå.
