PLC Programmer (Allen Bradley)

Ferchau Poland invites experienced PLC Programmers to join our team in Gdańsk. The candidate will be responsible for design of control systems and developing the corresponding software for them.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design PLC/HMI-based control systems for new production lines (Plastic processing)
  • Modify existing solutions, including technical drawings, PLC memory maps, programming notes, etc.
  • Onsite implementation, programming, testing and commission of PLC class systems – approx. 40% of the time, travelling to the USA
  • Manage individual project schedules and routinely report progress
  • Preparing reports and functional or technical specifications
Skills and Qualifications
  • BSc/MSc degree in Automation and Robotics, Mechatronics or comparable technical degree
  • Min. 2 years of experience in commercial, industrial automation projects using Allen Bradley components and related software
  • Knowledge of Rockwell Automation products and software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, proficiency in Polish, German will be an advantage
  • Experience in using Eplan will be advantage
  • Knowledge of petrochemical or other process industries will be advantage
  • A solution-oriented and independent work is required
  • Great self-organized skills and focus on detail
