We are now looking for Test Technician to join the Operations team in our Gdansk Factory. The primary purpose of this role is to deliver robust electrical testing facilities to support all products and to take enhance electrical test processes and procedures at Northvolt.

We are now looking for Test Technician to join the Operations team in our Gdansk Factory. The primary purpose of this role is to deliver robust electrical testing facilities to support all products and to take enhance electrical test processes and procedures at Northvolt.
Key responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting of electrical test and vision systems stations electrical cabinets
- Responsible for product diagnostic for root cause analysis and identification of proper corrective action (man, machine, material, method, environment)
- Implementation and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical test and vision systems stations
- Execution of electrical tests and reports following test procedures
- Accountable for equipment administration
- Ensuring all electrical measurement devices and cameras are calibrated
- Responsible for executing cameras and profilometers calibration
- Maintenance of stations golden samples
- Propose ideas for equipment and process improvement
- Link between Production Test and R&D Engineering for new product developments, design changes and product diagnostics (development of new products
- Engineering degree (electronics, automation, robotics, mechatronics or similar)
- Fluent in basics of Electronics
- Good understanding of Power Electronics principles
- Good understanding of Power Electronics and High Voltage safety principles
- Keyence AutoID Navigator – Barcode Reader software
- Keyence Profilometer – LGX Serial Terminal Software, for geometrical measurements
- Keyence Vision Camera – XGX Vision Terminal Software, for visual inspection
- Real experience with CAN, Ethernet bus configuration and usage
- Understanding of Embedded Programming principles
- Experience with basic measurement instruments
- Experience with modern application development using languages such as Python or similar will be BIG+
- High level of competency on MS applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Very good English written and oral skills
- Highly organised and result-driven
- Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management
- Can do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently

The NORTHVOLT team of experts is currently building a new generation lithium-ion cell factory in northern Sweden, focusing on process innovation, scale and vertical integration of processes. When completed, it will be the largest battery cell factory in Europe with an annual production capacity of 40 GWh.
