About the role 
Our client, a global consumer goods organisation, is transforming its finance function with an AI enabled month end close solution. You will work across the full solution, from the user console to the orchestration layer and Oracle E-Business Suite integrations, where AI agents review each step, flag discrepancies and recommend actions to users. 

Key responsibilities 

• Develop across all tiers of the solution, including the user interface, orchestrator and backend components. 

 

• Maintain and enhance the month end close console, the primary user interface for the system, built in Next.js and React. 

 

• Build and maintain the Python orchestrator (FastAPI) that uses LangGraph to step through month end close processes in a controlled, deterministic way. 

 

• Integrate AI agents that review evidence produced by each process step, identify discrepancies and issue recommendations to users through the console. 

 

• Work with the custom MCP server to connect to Oracle E-Business Suite, pulling data via the database and retrieving reports over secure FTP. 

 

• Troubleshoot automated process steps and collaborate with a virtual team across Europe, India and the US in an Agile, Jira based workflow. 

 
What you'll bring

• Based in Poland, Romania or another near shore European location, with the right to work there. 

 

• Strong Python development experience, including hands on use of FastAPI. 

 

• Proficiency in React and Next.js. 

 

• Experience with LangGraph or a comparable agent orchestration framework. 

 

• Confident use of AI coding assistants, with a proven ability to review, test and refine AI generated code rather than accepting it at face value. 

 

• Ability to write SQL for data extraction. 

 

• Understanding of multi component architectures (console, orchestrator, integration server) and experience working in Agile, virtual teams across time zones. 

Desirable 

• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (pulling data and updating records) and secure FTP report retrieval. 

 

• Exposure to finance processes, especially month end close or record to report. 

 

• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.
