One of the biggest Lufthansa Data Warehouse system gathers, processes and provides data about: customers, tickets, journeys, B2B agreements, loyalty systems and many more customer related topics. All the above is supplemented by the scheduled and executed flights. Such enterprise requires many engineers for the realization. The majority of the project is realized in Teradata technology and based on SQL scripts. The organization is based on the agile methodologies. At the moment only some parts of the project are transferred or created from scratch in Azure technology.
The target for this data warehouse is the migration to Azure platform using (Data Bricks, Data Factory and Azure Synapse) and our engineers are expected to work in that environment in the future.

Who are you?
Your profile:

Knowledge of Database technology,
Knowledge of SQL,
Good knowledge of English in speaking and writing (B2/C1),
Team player with good communication skills.

What do we welcome?

Experience and knowledge of database procedural language (for ex.: T-SQL, PL/SQL),
Experience with ETL tools ( for ex.: Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SSIS, Oracle ODI, Kettle ETL, Informatica ),
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies,
Experience with Azure ( DataBricks, DataFactory ),
Database operations experience ( partitioning, index/statistics maintenance, performance analysis ),
General knowledge of Unix/Linux systems,
Knowledge of Python ( including Numpy and Pandas ),
Experience with Version Control tools.
