                                       Container Flow Coordinator
                                               Workplace: Gdańsk

The Container Flow Coordinator role is set within the Container Flow Management team which is responsible for coordination and optimisation of equipment flows & stock in Europe and Africa that support export demand and keep stable and required stock levels in the most cost-efficient manner.  

In this position you will be mainly responsible for:
  • Managing match back and empty equipment flows within and between Regional Offices to ensure optimal stock levels and maximum vessel utilisation
  • Ensuring reefer flow optimisation along with flow modelling for all European Trades including Africa
  • Coordination of the European PUDO (pick-up & drop-off) process together with Inland Operations and Marketing Teams
  • Identifying cost saving opportunities
  • Monitoring, optimisation, and development of existing processes
  • Effective communication with relevant parties to successfully complete tasks
The ideal Candidate for this position should:
  • Possess suitable 2-4 years of working experience
  • Have a commercial understanding of container shipping business
  • Have a Bachelor/Master’s degree in Maritime, Logistics, Supply Chain Management
  • Show high analytical skills with basic understanding of BI Tools & data management
  • Have ability to draw and present conclusions based on the available data
  • Present problem- solving orientation approach
  • Have advanced working knowledge of EXCEL
  • Be accurate and detail-oriented
  • Operate advanced English both written and spoken
  • Be able to work under time pressure and according to deadlines
  • Communicate effectively
