Job Description
Responsible for a 12 people team of Accountants supporting processes from AP, AR and GL area
Responsible for achieving team SLAs (Service Level Agreement)
Monitors Service Levels - Periodic collection and analysis of data received
Review processes for deficiencies and implement better controls
Supervises Quality Control processes in accordance with set guidelines
Builds and maintains strong business relationship with Client and onshore teams in scope- regular and ad hoc meetings and process reviews calls
Identifies areas for improvement in processes
Motivates and builds the skills of the team
Internally reviews teams potential and capabilities
Coaches/counsels direct reports on performance improvement and career development and set performance goals during regular 1o1s
Conducting performance appraisal discussions
Organizing team meetings to share operational and internal updates
Qualifications
Fluent in English (C1) to communicate inside company
German- strong advantage (minimum B2, preferable C1) to communicate with the client
Background in Finance & Accounting
Practical experience in managing/co-managing F&A teams with good understanding of People Management, Tools, Processes and Methodologies
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to details
Effective time management & prioritizing skills
Excellent communication & leadership skills
Ability to multi-task & keep up with a fast-paced environment
Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications: especially Excel
Additional information
