Are you looking to kick-start a new career in Recruitment?

If you’re a self-starter, commercially minded and keen to develop a career in Recruitment, we want to hear from you.

AMS are currently recruiting for our next Global Recruitment Trainee Programme where you will embark on an initial 3-week intensive training programme to equip you with a robust and comprehensive understanding of the Recruitment Lifecycle, tools and technology that we use as well as the skills and behaviours that will enable you to be successful in the world of Talent Acquisition.

On Week 4, you will transition to a client account as a Trainee Recruiter or Sourcer, where you will learn about account specific operational procedures, service level agreements and systems. From then onwards, you will work towards achieving your development milestones and apply your learning via exposure to ‘live’ tasks with support and guidance from your Line Manager and Skills Coach.

Interested? Then we want to hear from you!

The Role

To start your development journey, the initial training period is designed to provide the following learning outcomes:
  • How to develop a good understanding of client needs, their industry, what they do, their work culture and environment. Essentially, you will learn about what makes a successful hire and how we can ensure our clients continue to grow successfully.
  • Learning the processes which you will need to master to ensure that we consistently deliver for our clients. No two clients are the same and our commitment to delivering excellence means we need adaptable and agile thinkers.
  • How to use a candidate database to match qualified candidates to client vacancies. Knowing how to attract and engage talent is an essential skill in the world of Talent Acquisition.
  • How to evaluate applicants fairly against defined role criteria and how best to present a shortlist of suitable candidates to clients.
  • How to manage interviews and the assessment and selection process. There’s a lot of planning that goes into what you’ll do so it’s important to be forward thinking in order to coordinate the process effectively and ensure that it is fit-for-purpose.
  • How to ensure that successful candidates are engaged and onboarded correctly and within the agreed time frames. For our clients and candidates with whom we partner, providing a best-in-class experience is vital and both Sourcers and Recruiters play a crucial role in making this happen.
